Life Changes

A lot has happened since my last post. First of all I have moved back to New Mexico. A little town in the Mimbres Valley. I used to tell people when I had my shop that when I retired I would move to a dead end dirt road and never come out.... Well I'm pretty close! This valley has been inhabited since around 1000 AD. Its beautiful high desert, around 5800 feet. No more below zero for this girl!

Lots of news so I will start here. This is my new studio. 8 by 16 feet with a cute little loft that I will make into a reading room. I am semi retired so this will be my sanctuary. The best part is its movable. When we find our little piece of land we will move it to our forever home. More on that later!

I will also be moving my website to another host. I will be having a 30% off sale on the website shop until the end of September. Starting fresh on the new shop. Be sure to check out the shop, there are lots of great pieces all 30% off! I very rarely have sales so take advantage!

I will not have a blog on the new website. That is one of the reasons I am changing sites. My current web host keeps raising my fees and limited posts for blogs. Not sure what I will do. Maybe a YouTube Vlog instead? What do you think?

My main focus is to simplify my life and to make beautiful things. I will still be showing my work at the fabulous Saloon # 10 mercantile, Jacobs Art Gallery, Sickboys all in downtown Deadwood as well as Book Woman in Austin , Texas. Ill be showing here in New Mexico eventually as well as having private showings in my cute little studio.

I'm also doing some small shows here in the Silver City area. Harvest Festival in Mimbres, NM as well as the Holiday sale in Silver City. There are a couple more that Ill have news about later in the summer. You can always contact me directly either email or phone.

Andy & I are also trying to figure something out for next summer in the Black Hills. Possibly a trunk show somewhere. Ill let you know about that later in the year. Im hoping with my son's help Ill be able to transition smoothly to the new website, using my domain name. Crossing my fingers!
